Some of these defects can affect the structural integrity, dimensions (internal or external), water-tightness or certification requirements of the container. The user is expected to exercise reasonable care in operating the container. In general, defects resulting from failure to do so are considered “damage”.如上述之损坏经常产生于对集装箱的不正当操作及使用。某些此种损害将影响集装箱结构、尺寸(内、外部)防水性或证书要求。在营运集装箱时应当合理谨慎。一般而言,若未能尽谨慎处理之责而导致的缺陷应视为“损坏”。
