3. Why “Electronic Journal”?
The ABC is a unique educational system, and ABC Graduate School of Law is an international law school. If we publish some traditional hard copy journals in English, the readers may be limited, and the journals will not be far reached. However, the Electronic Journal virtually will be available all around the world. This is the best mode of law review for an international law school.
Second, the run of a law review by students is a new exploration by the East Asian law students, so firstly, we are better to begin with an electronic version law review. After several years’ development, we may consider reduce it to hard copies and publish some traditional law reviews or journals.
4. The Organization of Journal
The law review is also an educational method. The editors will learn a lot from working for a law review. So I suggest we create a student-running law review as in many US law schools.
(1). Editorial Board
Editor-in-Chief, Submissions Editor, Executive Editor, Articles Editors, notes Editor, Technical Editor, etc.
Like law reviews of western countries, the Editorial Board will be from students. The Student Editorial Positions are open to all graduate students who pursue scholarship at the ABC Graduate School of Lawl.
"law students" will be making decisions, organizing thoughts, managing staffs, and a variety of other tasks that, are honed through law review experience.
(2). Board of Advisors
Usually, this board consists of Professors. All the papers will be reviewed by Board of Advisors or other technical experts in order to determine whether they are worth to be published.
5. The Journal Web Site Structure
The web site will consist of:
· Home page: This page will provide an introduction to the journal and to the students and academic staff on the editorial board. It will also act as the centre for navigating to all other areas of the web-site. Any important announcements and major news will be highlighted on this page and links provided to the full item/article where this is appropriate.
