Our country has entered the World Trade Organization. The world economy will be more globular. Therefore, the lawyer’s affairs should adapt this renovation too. Law Firm and lawyer as the legal aristocracy must reform its system and improve the fiber itself. Apparently, the extent of affairs and the method of lawyer will bring a giant alteration under the economic globalization. These at least embody the several aspects below:
First, one of the overhead and extensive affairs of lawyer is international trade and international investment legal service. Lawyer have to do much more affairs such as credit investigation, investment environment investigation than ever.. Moreover, the making of contracts pertinent to the international trade and international investment shall be more different also.
Second , international arbitration business. Lawyer as a agent participating in international arbitration is very popular among the investment and trade conflict between the enterprise of the member of WTO. The manner of this legal business and the rules applying to it will bring a great variety. Thereby, to understand and master the knowledge about the rules of international economic trade arbitration has been becoming basic demand of lawyer.
Third , protection of intellectual property rights business. Goods trade especially the technological service trade can be easily given rise to the controversy which user defraud the rights of comparative party. Fourth , affairs of international payment and external loan. The farther freedom of the international trade cause the commercial instrument to be the most important instrumentality of payment. The embroilment taking place form it is a kind of inevitable phenomenon. Apparently, lawyer should be familiar to the rules of it and transact the legal affairs about it to be a necessary tendency.
