Mary Kay Kisthardt
Associate Professor of Law; B.A. (King''s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania); J.D. (Dickinson School of Law); LL.M. (Yale University)
Professor Kisthardt received her B.A. in 1975 from King''s College in Pennsylvania, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her J.D. in 1978 from Dickinson School of Law, where she was a member of Law Review and the Moot Court Board. She received her LL.M. from Yale University in 1985. 
Before joining the faculty in 1985, Professor Kisthardt taught at the University of Hawaii. She also served as a consultant to the Exceptional Children Division of the Hawaii Department of Education. From 1976 to 1981, she worked for several government agencies in the state of Pennsylvania. including the departments of Education and Justice, the Commonwealth Court and the Office of the Attorney General.
Professor Kisthardt teaches Family Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Children in the Law, Mediation, and Workshop in Current Issues in Family Law. She is the executive editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Julie M. Cheslik
Associate Professor of Law; B.A., J.D. (University of Iowa)
Professor Cheslik received a B.A. degree with highest distinction from the University of Iowa in 1982 and a J.D. with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1985 where she was an associate editor of the Law Review.
She was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1985 and was law clerk to United States District Judge Joseph E. Stevens Jr. from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 until joining the faculty in the fall of 1989, she was in practice with the firm of Stinson, Mag & Fizzell, specializing in commercial litigation and general corporate practice. In 1987 and 1988, she served the school as a volunteer writing instructor.
